And also at the Riviera Beach Marina Village Event Center you can rent: paddleboards, kayaks, and even boats.

This zoo is composed of over 20 acres and has over 400 different types of animals.

From sloths, alligators, peacocks, to even jaguars you can find many different types of species from all over the world.

In addition, the zoo puts on several events throughout the year.

Such as Zoo Lights which only comes during the holiday season of Christmas. In which thousands of lights are illuminated across the zoo at night.

You must purchase a separate ticket for this event which is not included in the entrance ticket.

This zoo also makes it convenient for people wanting to have their weddings here or parties. In which they offer catering along with a space to plan here.

Peanut Island

Located off the Port of Palm Beach you can find Peanut Island Park.

The only way to get to this island is by boat. There is a shuttle boat service to and from the island that passes by every 20 minutes.

There is a fee of $12 per adult to take this service. There are several activities worth doing while visiting.

Snorkeling is a famous activity to do here. You will see many different types of wildlife underwater. From fish to even manatees.

You can rent a snorkeling mask as well in case you didn’t bring one. Anywhere from $12-$20. But, check out the site for an updated listing.

Furthermore, there are guided tours here. The Land and Sea Guided Eco-Tour allows you to sail on a boat around the island.

This tour is about 2 hours and you will also be able to see the Manatee Lagoon Center.

For those camp lovers, you can camp here as well. The costs for a tent rental is $65 a night, and for an adult camper it’s $20.

You must make a reservation through Palm Beach County Parks & Recreation.

Besides, camping and snorkeling you can also kayak around here. If you don’t have any equipment to kayak you can rent some for $8.

Kravis Center for the Performing Arts

Less than a mile away from CityPlace West Palm Beach off Ookeechobee Blvd you can find Kravis Center for the Performing Arts.

From Broadway shows such as: Hamilton, The Donna Summer Musical, and A Bronx Tale to name a few.

Rapids Water Park

From thrill rides for example, Big Thunder which takes you swirling around a tunnel to finally dropping 45 degrees.

There are also several dining areas along with shops that offer beach wear along with other different types of souvenirs.

Ticket prices vary from weekend to weekdays. If you plan on coming during the week prices are $44.99 per person.

Currently, the park is closed for remodeling and won’t be open until March 2020, so be aware.

FITTEAM Ballpark of the Palm Beaches

Calling all baseball lovers! This one’s for you! Palm West Beach has there own ballpark stadium.

Houston Astros, St. Louis Cardinals, and New York Mets are a few baseball teams that are often here for spring training.

Not only can you catch a baseball game here, but there are other types of events that take place here.

The Light the Night Celebration Walk is a fundraising gathering.

That is put together by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. People walk to raise money for cancer research.

Clean Culture Car Show is another popular event amongst automotive fanatics.

Here many people show off their vehicles. Think of it like Fast and Furious.

Ocean Reef Park

Not a popular place, unlike Peanut Island you can still find tranquility without as much tourism here.

It’s another go to place for snorkeling. There are many seashells amongst this beach here. There are outdoor showers and restrooms here as well.

One thing that we noticed when visiting this place is that you can park here for free. Which was nice since most places we had to pay.

There are picnic tables as well for people to sit and rest. If you enjoy walking check out the boardwalk.

Which wraps around this place and see the dunes as well here.

Henry Morrison Flagler Museum

Henry Flagler was a visionary influential American businessman that helped shape part of Florida’s tourism.

Besides forming a Standard Oil Company, he would go on to construct other famous buildings such as the Hotel Juan Ponce de León.

His legacy has become symbolic and Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida is named after him. You can learn more about that, here.

This museum was once Henry Flagler’s mansion home. Housing more than 70 rooms along with over 20 bathrooms.

To this day it is listed as a U.S. National Historic Landmark.

There is an entrance fee cost of $18 per adult, and they offer guided tours.

You can learn about the history of this mansion through their app or doing an audio tour while visiting.

Mounts Botanical Gardens

Unlike, CityPlace West Palm Beach which is filled with shops and crowds, Mounts Botanical Gardens offers you tranquility and nature.

It is home to more than a thousand species of tropical plants.

From roses to pine trees you will come different types of small gardens here.

It is the largest garden in Palm Beach County that stretches over 10-acres. You can find a beautiful lake within here that has fish.

There is a cost to enter here which is $10 for adults and the garden is open everyday of the week.

Manatee Lagoon

Is another attraction worth visiting amongst families or solo traveler.

As its name implies this place is an educational center brining you everything about manatees.

You can see the manatees in their habitat (Lake Worth Lagoon) and there are several exhibits that showcase underwater photography as well.

The best thing about this center is that it offers free parking and admission.

For all yoga lovers you will love this place as well! This center offers free yoga classes Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

You must register in advance to reserve a spot.  Nothing beats a free yoga session right beside nature.

Manatee Lagoon offers tours as well free of cost. You must reserve in advance, though.

You can take a private, public, or self-guided tour.

One of the unfortunate things though is pets are not allowed here unless they are service animals.

Port of Palm Beach

Located on Riviera Beach this place is home to the Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line.

Why not escape West Palm Beach for a bit if you have time and go on a cruise.

You can take a 2-day cruise to the Bahamas or Nassau. Prices range from $99 per person up to $119.

 Of course, prices will depend upon the different months, but be sure to check out their site for the differences in price.

The best thing about cruises is that they offer all you can eat food along with never ending entertainment from shows to even getting a massage.

There is a $20 cost per night in parking your vehicle here at the port worth mentioning if you are driving here.
