We’re Jess and Jeanette, two sisters born and raised in San Diego, California, along with our adventure buddy Tutú, an energetic Shih Tzu who joined our family around January 2024.
Growing up, our family couldn’t afford Disney trips or fancy vacations, so instead we discovered something even better – San Diego’s incredible coastline.
Our childhood was filled with beach BBQs, bonfires, and watermelon sunsets that taught us to find joy in simple coastal adventures.
When Tutú came into our lives, we began traveling and sharing authentic sisters + dog San Diego adventures – discovering the best pet-friendly spots, hidden gems, and outdoor experiences perfect for dog parents and families exploring our city.

Since our mom brought Tutú home from Tijuana, Mexico around January 2024, Jess has been his main caretaker and developed a deep bond with him.
Tutú has become a new love in Jess’s life, providing comfort and joy.

Jeanette is the visual storyteller and Tutú’s dedicated trainer.
She keeps both her sister Jess and Tutú active with daily walks and has trained Tutú in essential commands like sit, shake, and roll over.
Her passion for hiking and paddleboarding fuels adventures that balance fun and Tutú’s energy needs.
Jeanette’s expertise in dog-friendly activities ensures the best spots for pups, from cooling stream crossings to dog-welcoming paddleboarding sites.

Meet Tutú – Our Four-Legged Adventure Guide
Around January 2024, Tutú came into our lives when my mom brought him from Tijuana, Mexico.
Tutú quickly became our adventure buddy and inspired our dog-friendly focus.
