Granola Mixture

I have tried these brands and they are just delicious.

I bought granola on Amazon so I could get the fast shipping and excellent return policy.

The price will likely change over time, so click this link to check the current price of the granola on Amazon.

Homemade Fruit Bowls

Making a simple fruit salad is one food and snack to bring to the beach worth mentioning.

They are refreshing, healthy, and easy to make!

I usually put cottage cheese on my fruit salad, but it is probably a good idea to leave it out if it’s too hot.

Buy grapes, cantaloupe, watermelon, strawberries, etc.

Cut and dice them and take them on the go!

You can even make these as fruit skewers.

Pre-cut apples + Peanut Butter

You can cut them up into slices (only if you don’t mind your apples oxidizing a bit).

Bringing a heavy-duty beach cooler is your best bet for keeping things fresh.

I highly recommend these amazing 20-Qt coolers to buy.

Celery Sticks + Peanut Butter

If you enjoy celery then flavor it with peanut butter.

Some people prefer plain celery, but I would rather have mine with peanut butter.

Celery is one of the best things to bring with you because it contains a lot of water.

This will keep you feeling hydrated and fresh.

Hard-boiled eggs

Making hard-boiled eggs is one of the easiest things you can pack!

This makes our top list of foods and snacks to bring to the beach.

These take less than 15 minutes to prepare and will often last long if packed correctly!

You can also buy this ready-to-go at any local grocery store in your area.

String Cheese

If you like string cheese or baby bell cheese this is probably one of the easiest things to take.

It is packaged and ready to go!

Just make sure you eat these first.

Getting a good quality cooler is your best bet for keeping these fresh with you.

Pita Chips + Hummus

Pita chips and hummus or veggies with hummus are some of the best combos out there!

Hummus is perfect for the beach since it can withstand some heat and won’t exactly go bad like dairy.

It is best you bring these in a cooler to keep them fresh.

Bell Pepper (sliced) Or Baby Carrots + Hummus

Slicking bell peppers and taking those on the go with some hummus makes for the perfect snack.

You can even substitute bell peppers and use baby carrots.

Either way, you are getting the protein from the hummus to keep you feeling full.

Homemade Trailmix

If you are not allergic to nuts, then you could definitely take these on the go.

You can easily buy these at the store or mix them up yourself.

Rice cakes + Peanut Butter

These are some trusted brands I have tried.

For the current price of Rice Cakes, click the Amazon link here.

Pistachios

You can buy the pistachios from a bag or just in bulk from your local food store.

I have tried this brand before.

The price is likely to change, so click this link to check the current price on Amazon.

Diced Melon

Alas, another fruit that contains a lot of water.

Watermelon will definitely keep you hydrated and it’s perfect for the beach.

Just like watermelon, cantaloupe and honeydew are perfect for the beach.

You can dice these beforehand to carry them easily.

Frozen Grapes

If you have never tried frozen grapes then you most definitely have to!

My friend introduced me to these and it has been my favorite go-to snack for the beach!

Make sure you freeze them the night before!

Dried Edamame

I love this brand!

Multi-grain crackers

Bringing these with hummus is definitely my go-to beach snack.

I do this often and keeps me with enough energy!

(opt-in for multi-grain; it’s oftentimes difficult to find the right ones)

Homemade Muffins

You can easily find a recipe on the internet.

Pick your favorite.

I love getting recipes online from Minimalist Baker.
